SANDBOARDING

 

Sandboarding - East Rand Price: R560 per person Location: Johannesburg     Need for speed? Meet at Benoni at 10:00 and then you will be accompanied to the venue where the instructors will show you the ropes of sandboarding. You can go down the slopes as many times as you wish (full day). The price includes the equipment rental and sandboard lessons with a professional sandboard instructor. You must be reasonably physically fit to take part and be at least 12 years or older. Bring lots of energy drinks and water.  Wear comfortable clothes (jeans/shorts, tshirts and tekkies). This experience is available Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 to 15:30.

Sandboarding - Cape Town Price: R540 per person Location: Cape Town     Sandboard on 35m dunes. This experience includes drinks, equipment and training. Your sandboarding experience will last around 4-5 hours. The experience begins with a safety briefing and an introduction to the equipment. At the end of the day the team normally go to a restaurant for a sundowner or pizza (for your own account if you wish to join them). Dress casual and bring sunscreen, cap, sunglasses, thick socks and a jacket if its windy. This experience is weather dependant and do not take place in wet conditions. You must be reasonably physically fit to take part. The experience is ideal for complete beginners.

Sandboarding with Picnic Price: R760 per person Location: Johannesburg     Meet at 10:00 whereby you will be accompanied to the venue where the instructors will give you sandboarding lessons. You can go down the slopes as many times as you wish (full day). The price includes the equipment rental and sandboard lessons. You must be reasonably physically fit and be at least 12 years.  Wear comfortable clothes (jeans/shorts, tshirts and tekkies). A picnic basket will be supplied with energy drinks, bottled water, cheeses, salads, meat and desert. Return the basket and blanket to the venue afterwards. This experience is available Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 to 15:30.
