The course must be booked at
least 2 weeks in advance
Must be at least 15 years
of age
Must submit a medical certificate
before participating in any practical training (not older
than 12 months)
The CMAS-ISA Sport Diving Medical
Examination Form must be completed at medical examination
Must pass theory examination as set by
CMAS-ISA. Pass rate of 65% is compulsory
Must pass the practical tests
Must log at least 15 scuba dives to
enroll in the course
Dives must be to a depth of not
exceeding 10m and of at least 15 min
Dives exceeding 18m will only be taken
as part of the qualifying prerequisites once enrolled in
course
All of the following qualifying dives
must be included night dive, boat dive, freshwater dive,
seawater dive, low visibility dive and a 30m dive. At least 5 dives
must be to a depth exceeding 18m. A decompression chamber dive does not qualify.
